The CGMA FLP
What is The CGMA FLP
The CGMA FLP, is part of an all-inclusive subscription package and delivered online in a self-paced digital environment. It
teaches the same competencies as other routes to the CIMA Professional Qualification only that students do not write Objective Tests, they only site for the case study exam.
Entry Requirements
Currently, there are only 2 pathways into the CGMA FLP:
1. Education
Operational Learning Level
· Bachelor's degree or above in business
Management Learning Level
· Bachelor's degree or above in accounting or finance
2. Professional Qualification or Transfer from Traditional Exam Route

Cert BA students are NOTeligible for The CGMA FLP. You can start the CGMA FLP at the Operational level once you have successfully completed the Cert BA.

The flexibility of The CGMA FLP
The subscription does not prevent or restrict progression, with an active subscription to the CGMA FLP you can progress as far as you are able for the duration of your subscription.
For example, if you have time to complete the learning and exam prep for one level and pass the case study exam, you can then continue to the next level learning and possibly even finish the exam prep and case study for that level!
Add-on: Supplementary Support for a 1st Time Pass when taking the Case Study Exam
Your chances of passing the Case Study 1st Time are high when you add our classes on your CGMA FLP package. You have an option of adding Objective Test classes and Case study classes OR just the case study classes as you will only be writing the case study exam.
Remember with The CGMA FLP, your pace is important within your subscription and you need to pass as much case study exams as you can during the active period of your subscription. We recommend that you at least opt to add on case study classes for R4,999!

Create your profile and submit your application
You are required to create your profile and submit your application here: https://enroll.cgma.org/
Once approved, Pay for your subscription & Receive your CGMA FLP Voucher
Once your CGMA FLP application has been approved, you will be informed of the level you start the CGMA FLP and from there you pay your subscription fees. CQ team will provide your CGMA FLP Voucher and further guidance.

Transfer Students
Students from the CIMA traditional exam route
Register for the CGMA FLP directly with CIMA
You are required to create your profile and submit your application here. During the registration process, you will be identified as a CIMA student and the CIMA team will be in touch with you to confirm your transitional if you are eligible.
Once approved, Pay for your subscription
Once your CGMA FLP application has been approved, CIMA will inform you of the level you start the CGMA FLP and from there you pay your subscription fees to CQ. CQ team will provide your CGMA FLP Voucher. Registration via CQ is done here.

IMPORTANT NOTES BEFORE YOU REGISTER FOR THE CGMA FLP:

Although CharterQuest allows payment plans, this are NOT available for the CGMA FLP. You are required to pay 100% upfront fee before access is granted for the CGMA FLP.

Exisiting students must ensure they have updated their details in myCIMA account before requesting a transfer the CGMA FLP. You are NOT able to update your details once your CGMA FLP application is approved.

Once you switch to CGMA FLP you are NOT able to transfer back to the traditional exam route.

You will NOT automatically get a credit for scheduled exams when you transfer to the CGMA FLP. You must cancel your scheduled exams with Pearson VUE, and you will receive a refund to the card you used to pay for the exam. You are required to follow the CIMA reschedule policy.

Active OR inactive (lapsed students) CAN register for the CGMA FLP. The all-inclusive subscription package includes CIMA student subscription fees. Lapsed CIMA students are welcome to transition to the CGMA FLP. There is no re-registration fee, as all fees are covered in the bundled CGMA FLP subscription fee.

Students from other CIMA routes (e.g., CSEP) are eligible for the CGMA FLP, but will have to be addressed on a case-by-case basis as there is no standard process for transitions from other programmes. Contact us for support.

Any person who is restricted from being a CIMA student for disciplinary or other reasons is INELIGIBLE for the CGMA FLP.

Learners transitioning from the traditional exam route will maintain ALL progress their made with CIMA. Learners will receive credit for the corresponding competency area learning and assessment. This means they will not be required to re-take the learning or assessment in competency areas where they have already proven their proficiency via Objective Tests.

Practical Experience Requirements (PER)

Both routes require learners to log at least three years of verified, relevant, work-based experience in
the course of completing the Professional Qualification. This requirement ensures their mastery of real-world
accounting, finance and business skills.
